The opportunity

Assistant Sydney is partnering with one of our leading professional services firms in the property and real estate field. Known to be a top tier industry leader in the marketplace for their forward-thinking, innovative and corporate image. They pride themselves on their collaborative culture, which is a result of their team having equal respect and integrity for each other and their roles in the business. With an ongoing opportunity to support the business across their multiple Sydney office sites in central CBD locations, the role will both commence on a one month contract immediately.
  
The responsibility

Our Client is looking for a corporate receptionist who can help their business engine hum and enable the team to do what they do best. It’s a multi-faceted role from managing all booking and appointments through to frontline customer service and preparing documents and administration when required. Your daily responsibilities will also include:

  • Meeting and greeting all clients courteously with a high standard of customer service
  • Screening all inbound calls in a polite manner and directing them correctly within the business
  • Managing all sign in and sign out of visitors, issuing of identification badges and visitor cards
  • Managing the calender and appointments for all boardroom and meeting room facilities
  • Coordinating catering requirements when necessary
  • Managing all stationary, printing and kitchen supplies
  • Accept all deliveries, manage and distribute mail
  • Keeping front of house area clean and tidy, managing facilities needs when required
  • Ad hoc administrative responsibilities to support management

 
The expertise

To be considered for this role, you will be confident and organised with an eye for detail. Previous exposure to corporate environments or highly customer service focused roles in client facing situations is ideal. You will uphold impeccable presentation and communication skills in both verbal and written form, and have intermediate MS Office skills. You will take pride in your work, and be proud to be the face of the organisation. It is essential than you can work autonomously, but can also work in a group and as a team player when required. Finally with the interchanging adaptability to work across many of their CBD based corporate offices you will be adaptable, good at problem solving and flexible in your approach.
