The Opportunity
Our client is a private investment management firm located in the heart of Sydney CBD. They are a small, tight-knit team who have strong commitments to the business, and are well looked after. They manage a portfolio of over 100 clients, who are all “HNWI”. An Executive Office Manager position has become available for a confident and skilled individual to support the Chairman and team with traditional Executive Assistant responsibilities, as well as full office management and client liaison functions. 

The Responsibility
In this role you will wear a variety of hats, depending on what needs to be achieved for the day. This role is suited to someone who can multitask, prioritise and has a can-do anything approach. Responsibilities for this position will include, but not be limited to;

  • Managing diaries, calendar and travel arrangements
  • Communicating, and maintaining relations with internal and external stakeholders
  • Assisting the Associate Advisers in the preparation of Advice documents
  • Maintaining the databases
  • Uses Macquarie and BT Websites to prepare reports
  • Organising ad hoc events, and running any office errands
  • Processing monthly expenses for the team 

The Expertise
As the successful applicant you will have worked in the financial planning industry, or similar. You will have excellent organisation skills, coupled with solid interpersonal and communication skills. MS Office skills at an advanced level is desirable, and experience with Adviser Logic would be highly beneficial. You will be familiar with the use of social media in a business environment, and pay strong attention to detail. 

*This role has the opportunity to be over 5 days a week with reduced hours, or 4 days a week with full-time hours. Our client is flexible with either work option, they just want a committed and bright candidate to join their highly collaborative team.
