The Opportunity

This is a unique opportunity for a graduate candidate to join a boutique consultancy firm as an Administrative Assistant. Our client is hoping for an immediate start, however we will wait for great talent! This opportunity will provide an introduction to an energetic and corporate environment, and there will be plenty of opportunities for progression as you prove yourself in this role. The ideal candidate for this position is one who is hardworking, driven, and not afraid to step up to a good challenge! This will start off as a 12-month contract, and is likely to become permanent. 

The Responsibility

As the Administrative Assistant, your role will encompass a wide variety of administrative and office support functions. A full job description will be provided during interview, however the general responsibilities will include:

  • Answering incoming phone calls and taking messages;
  • Booking in candidates for interview, and formatting their CV’s;
  • Managing the office supplies inclusive of catering and stationary;
  • Maintaining and assisting important records, and preparing documents;
  • Coordinating team and client events, initiatives and projects
  • Ad hoc marketing duties

The Expertise

To be considered for this position you will possess a can-do, confident and ‘keen to ‘earn’ attitude. Prior administration experience in a corporate environment is a bonus, but not essential for the right candidate. You’ll possess a hardworking, professional persona, and a sense of humour is essential in the office! Finally, immaculate presentation is important, along with strong communication skills and intermediate MS Office Suite skills.
