The Opportunity

Our client is a leading investment manager that has a strong focus on providing their clients with A+ service. Their clientele ranges from Australia to internationally, and their investments focus on real estate, capital and infrastructure. On offer is a 6-month contract for an Assistant and Facilities Coordinator to start early July in the Sydney CBD based office. This all-rounder role will require you to look after the office administration, front of house area and oversee the facilities. The client require somebody who is drive, adaptable, and can transition seamlessly into a fast paced environment. 

The Responsibility
  
Your primary responsibilities will focus on the daily coordination of facilities related tasks and the general office administration. Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Performing Reception duties including answering inbound calls, greeting clients on arrival; 
  • Coordinating meeting rooms and catering;
  • Collecting and organising mail and couriers;
  • Restocking the kitchen and office supplies;
  • Organising travel and reconciling corporate credit cards;
  • Responding to facilities request by liaising with service providers, contractors and building management;
  • Organising quotes and raising purchase requests;
  • Assisting HR with staff inductions and on-boarding/off-boarding;
  • Acting as the occupational workplace health and safety administrator, fire warden and first aid officer for the office

The Expertise 
  
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 4-5 years’ experience in a similar Reception, Facilities, or Office Support role in a corporate environment. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrated negotiations skills, and an intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite. A polished presentation is required for this role, as is the high organisation and time management skills.
