The Opportunity

Our client is a leading financial services business that has a strong focus on providing their clients with A+ service. Their clientele ranges from local to global and they have multiple offices across Australia and abroad. On offer is a 5 month contract for a Corporate Receptionist to start early January in their Sydney CBD based office. This role will require you to look after the office reception, front of house area and oversee the facilities. To fit well into this environment you must be somebody who is professional, driven, adaptable, and can transition seamlessly into a fast paced corporate environment. 

The Responsibility
  
Your primary responsibilities will focus on the daily coordination of reception, front of house and basic office administration. Duties include but are not limited to;

  • Performing Reception duties including answering inbound calls, greeting clients on arrival; 
  • Coordinating meeting rooms and catering;
  • Collecting and organising mail and couriers;
  • Restocking the kitchen and office supplies;
  • Responding to facilities request by liaising with service providers, contractors and building management;
  • Organising quotes and raising purchase requests;
  • Acting as the occupational workplace health and safety administrator, fire warden and first aid officer for the office

The Expertise 
  
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3-4 years’ experience in a similar reception role in a corporate environment. You will need to have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an intermediate knowledge of MS Office Suite. A polished presentation is required for this role, as is the high organisation and time management skills. If you also hold financial services experience and exposure this would be highly advantageous.
