Our client is one of Australia’s leading professional services firms; they employ over 2000 staff (nationwide) and is in the top 10 global firms. Their contemporary and stylish offices are located in the Sydney CBD; close to public transport options, shops and cafes. They are looking to hire an experienced Senior Administrator into the newly created role, which will see you liaising with senior management and senior stakeholders daily, and overseeing the general administration for the firm – nation wide!
In this role you’ll be responsible for the coordination of the various national administrative functions. Your responsibilities include:
- Coordinating contracts, leases and liaising with stakeholders
- Negotiating, maintaining and reporting on contracts
- Managing insurance claims, renewing policies and liaising with external brokers
- Reporting on corporate travel
- Ad hoc project work
The ideal candidate will have worked in a similar Senior Administration role, with 3-4+ years’ experience in a financial/professional services and corporate environment. You must have the correct aptitude to manage various tasks, demands and time frames, whilst also being reactive to last minute changes. A strong attention to detail, negotiation and influencing skills are key, as is having an intermediate understanding of MS Office Suite, specifically excel. A degree related to business or commerce will also be advantageous.
