The Opportunity
Our client is an Australian firm recognised for its wide scope of projects. A permanent opportunity has become available for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Director and to circumnavigate the Office Management tasks. Our client is looking for someone who will embrace and contribute to their progressive culture, enjoys workplace social activities, and is content with working in an office 5 days per week.
The Responsibility
You will play a pivotal role in office culture and dynamics, developing positive working relationships and setting the tone for a vibrant environment. Duties include:
- Diary management: proactively manage & coordinator daily schedules;
- Communication management: Prioritise communications (emails, calls and mail) on behalf of the Director;
- Travel coordination;
- Meeting preparation;
- Expense management;
- Office Management;
- Team leadership: Lead a team (2) of receptionists, ensuring the delivery of seamless office support and fostering a proactive attitude
- Office administration and event coordination.
The Expertise
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of Executive Assistant experience supporting at a similar level. Moreover, your ability to work professionally, liaise with a range of stakeholders, and capability to manage competing priorities are crucial. You’ll need to be highly proficient in MS Office, have demonstrated reliability, flexibility, proactivity and initiative, and be capable of managing competing priorities. You will have sound verbal and written communication skills and have a driven desire to achieve outstanding results in a team environment.
