As a legal Assistant within this firm, you will be supporting up to 10 Partners at a time. This role requires someone who can work with different management styles, and who wants to take ownership for their work.
We are currently searching for 3 Legal Assistants to support Partners across 3 different areas of practice. Our client is open to reviewing candidates of differing levels of experience, from current law students, through to senior Legal Assistants. We encourage all levels of experience to apply, so long as you are confident and take pride in providing top level legal and administrative support.
The responsibility
Your responsibilities in this role are vital in supporting the everyday functioning of the firm. Your day-to-day will consist of, but not be limited to:
- Supporting Partners with diary and calendar management;
- Preparing legal correspondence, completing research on behalf of Partners, and compiling court documents;
- Liaise with, and build strong relationships with clients, Barristers, court registries, and other internal and external parties;
- Responsible for the creation and tracking of Partners billing;
- Opening, closing, and filing documents and maintaining files;
- Provide high-level legal administrative support to Partners of the firm and their clients;
- Other ad hoc duties as required.
The expertise

Experience in legal billing is advantageous, and you must have at least 1+ years administrative experience.
