The Opportunity:

Assistant Sydney is partnering with a cutting edge technology organisation, offering a unique opportunity to join their close-knit Workplace Services team for a 9-month contract. Though short-term, this role, based 5 days in their iconic CBD office, provides a chance to showcase your talents in communications administration within a highly dynamic environment. As a key player in the team, you will interact with a diverse mix of stakeholders, coordinating internal communications and providing administrative support to the the office. This role demands proficiency in stakeholder management, customer service skillset, process improvement, and effective communication.

The Responsibility:

  • Setting up communication plans and messages to all stakeholders of a project or office including Senior Leadership;
  • Regular alignment with global internal communications and marketing teams and ensuring all communication is up to the latest corporate brand standards;
  • Coordination of communication to Employees, e.g. regular internal newsletters;
  • Review of texts and visuals before publication;
  • Document management, oversee Google and Quip documents, ensuring organisation and accessibility;
  • Assist with answering Slack messages and assigning inquiries to the appropriate team members;
  • Manage mailroom operations and incoming deliveries, ensuring effective customer service and communication, and;
  • Support with event relates requests; set up, office tours, post event highlights, etc.

The Expertise:

The ideal candidate for this role will have previous experience in corporate hospitality/PR/internal communications. They should demonstrate patience, a can-do attitude, and general technical abilities, including the capacity to interpret data and use software systems, experience with Google Workspace is required. A sense of humor, high-level customer and client communication skills, and an understanding of impeccable service are essential qualities. The candidate should possess unmatched attention to detail while being adaptable to changes.
