The Opportunity   
  
Our client is a reputable and highly regarded chartered accounting firm known for providing innovative client-focused services. They are seeking a proactive team assistant/receptionist to join their warm and welcoming team and to act as a face of the business. You will be working out of their beautiful Milsons Point office, overlooking Sydney Harbour and close to all public transport options. The team is comprised of professional and supportive individuals and who all have impressive tenure with the business. The Responsibility
  
As the Team Assistant, your responsibilities would include but not limited to:

  • Answering and directing incoming phone calls and emails;
  • Drafting and sending letters, dealing with mail and couriers;
  • Scheduling and setting up meetings rooms and boardrooms;
  • Point of contact for clients; meeting and greeting;
  • Maintaining the front office’s presentation and ordering supplies;
  • Coordinating internal events; team incentives and Christmas party; 
  • Preparing ATO correspondence and lodging income tax returns;
  • Preparing and emailing of financial packages to clients.

The Expertise
  
Ideally, you will be a confident and bubbly individual who is client services orientated and loves interacting with people on the daily! To be considered for this opportunity you will possess previous reception experience (1-2 years) working in a fast-paced environment, which isn’t’ necessarily corporate. You will need to have excellent customer service, strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills, with an ability to maintain a high level of verbal and written communication skills at all times. An interest in the accounting space is a plus, there is room for growth and development! Proficient MS Office skills, a high attention to detail, and the ability to work autonomously is also important.
