The Opportunity

Assistant Sydney has partnered with a global management consulting firm renowned for its expertise in business strategy, corporate development, and organisational transformation and servicing clients across various industries, including technology, healthcare, finance, and consumer goods. With a reputation built on an analytical and innovative approach and the ability to deliver insights tailored to each client’s challenges and opportunities, our client is considered a trailblazer in its specialisation.

Join this enviable firm on a permanent full-time basis as a Team Coordinator within the high functioning and dynamic Finance Team of 12. This role is heavily focused on administration and coordination duties across ANZ.

The Responsibility

This role sits within the finance team and duties will include but not limited to:

  • Key point of contact across ANZ for all employee expense administration, including responding to queries and ensuring company policy is being adhered too
  • Responsible for the expense system including enhancement testing, tax compliance and providing training to new team members
  • Reviewing bank details and ensuring the timely resolution of any issues with expense claims to ensure weekly payment cycle deadlines are met
  • Ensuring timesheets are submitted on a weekly basis across ANZ, including following up with line managers and individuals for submissions
  • Key liaison with the finance team to collate, maintain and organise the client contract repository
  • Maintaining KPI reporting and delivering on regional and global compliance KPIs
  • Partnering with the commercial finance team to set up new customers in the system and sending contracts and all other administration associated with client partnerships
  • Ad hoc administrative and finance operation tasks

The Expertise

Seeking a Team Assistant/Financial Administrator with 2+ years of experience in line with the outlined responsibilities within a corporate and professional setting. You will have proven initiative, confidence, and capabilities to hit the ground running relatively quickly. We are looking for someone with a high EQ, who isn’t afraid to ask questions, and who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills. You will have demonstrate reliability and proactivity, and be capable of managing competing priorities.
