The Opportunity
This global healthcare organisation, a true household name and industry leader, is seeking a Front of House/Events Host to join their Macquarie Park office on an immediate 3-month contract.
This is a dual-position role combining front-of-house excellence with end-to-end workplace event coordination. Based in a modern corporate environment close to Metro access, you will be the welcoming face of the organisation while also energising the workplace through engaging events and activations.
Our client is looking for a polished, proactive and highly organised individual who thrives in a fast-paced, people-facing environment and can seamlessly balance operational responsibilities with creative event delivery.
The Responsibility
As the Workplace Experience & Events Ambassador your duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Welcoming visitors, contractors and employees, managing sign-in processes and issuing access passes;
- Acting as the first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring a professional and warm experience at all times;
- Managing meeting room bookings, visitor registrations, mail, deliveries and daily lobby operations;
- Coordinating with security, facilities and building management to ensure smooth day-to-day operations;
- Planning and delivering internal events, activations and wellness initiatives aligned to company culture;
- Managing catering, AV, vendor relationships and event logistics from concept through to pack-down;
- Overseeing event communications including invitations, RSVP tracking and post-event feedback;
- Preparing reports and tracking participation metrics to measure engagement and impact;
- Providing general administrative and ad hoc support as required
The Expertise
To be successful in this role, you will bring proven experience within corporate reception, workplace experience or event coordination. Experience within a large corporate or global organisation will be highly regarded.
You will present as confident, polished and service-driven, with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. We are seeking someone who demonstrates strong initiative, thrives under pressure, is highly organised and detail-oriented, and can confidently manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
