The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity for an experienced Receptionist to join a global technology company specialising in cloud, data storage and enterprise infrastructure solutions.
This is a varied role that extends beyond traditional reception duties, combining front-of-house excellence with workplace coordination, vendor management and light facilities support. Ideal for someone who enjoys variety and takes pride in delivering an exceptional workplace experience, you will act as a key point of contact within the office, helping to create a professional, welcoming and well-functioning environment for employees, clients and visitors while supporting the seamless delivery of workplace services behind the scenes.
This is an ongoing full-time contract position, working onsite Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch break.
The Responsibilities
Responsibilities for the role include, but are not limited to:
- Managing front-of-house operations, including greeting visitors, handling calls and coordinating meeting rooms
- Delivering a high-quality workplace experience for employees, clients and guests
- Liaising with vendors and service providers, ensuring services are delivered efficiently and to a high standard
- Supporting facilities coordination, including maintenance requests and general workplace functionality
- Coordinating couriers, mail and deliveries
- Overseeing meeting room setup and ensuring shared spaces remain presentation-ready
- Assisting with general administrative support and day-to-day office operations
- Supporting workplace initiatives and contributing to a positive office culture
The Expertise
- 1–2 years’ experience in a Reception, Workplace Coordinator, Office Coordinator or similar position within a corporate environment
- Professional presentation and confident communication skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels
- Exposure to vendor coordination and/or facilities support within an office environment
- Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and general workplace systems
