The Opportunity
   
Our client, a respected engineering company known for innovation and a people-first culture, is looking for a full-time Administration Officer to become an integral part of their team. This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys a hands-on, varied role and takes pride in keeping an office running smoothly. As part of a tight-knit trio, working closely with the Receptionist and Office Manager, you’ll play a key role in creating a well-coordinated, efficient office environment that supports the team to do their best work.
  
The Responsibility
   
Responsibilities for the Administration Officer role include, but are not limited to:  

  • Manage office operations, supplies, and meeting coordination;
  • Greet visitors, handle calls, and support staff with administrative tasks;
  • Assist with HR processes, onboarding, and training coordination;
  • Support finance tasks including expense claims, invoicing, forecasting, and PIM management;
  • Help with marketing, events, and project administration as needed, and;
  • Work closely with senior leadership, providing high-level administrative support as required.

The Expertise
   
The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of experience in administration, business support, or project administration. You will possess strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential, along with an intermediate proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite. Experience with Deltek PIM and/or Union Square is advantageous. You will be detail-oriented, capable of maintaining accurate systems and records, and able to draft correspondence and basic reports with confidence.
