The Opportunity
This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly regarded global organisation with a significant Australian presence, working within a professional and established corporate environment. Our client is seeking a Reception / Guest Services professional to join their Macquarie Park office on an initial temporary contract for 3 months, with the opportunity for extension beyond this period. Sitting at the heart of the workplace, you will play an integral role in creating a polished and welcoming experience for employees, visitors and contractors, while providing broader support across workplace and facilities operations.
To be considered for this role, you must be immediately available, with the ability to commit through to the end of December and into the new year. Ideally, you will bring previous corporate reception, guest services, concierge or front-of-house experience, coupled with strong administration and customer service skills. The Responsibility
This position requires initiative, attention to detail and a polished, service-focused approach. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Manage reception and front-of-house operations, creating a professional and welcoming experience
- Greet and assist visitors, contractors and internal stakeholders, including coordinating site access
- Coordinate meeting rooms, bookings and room setup to support day-to-day business requirements
- Manage incoming mail, couriers, deliveries and general workplace administration
- Support the Facilities team with day-to-day workplace operations and service requests
- Assist with workplace safety administration, site procedures and general operational requirements
The Expertise
The ideal candidate will have previous reception, guest services, concierge or front-of-house experience, ideally gained within a corporate or professional environment. You will be a polished and confident communicator with a warm, service-focused approach and the ability to engage professionally with a broad range of stakeholders. You will be organised, reliable and proactive, with strong administration skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems and processes. Strong MS Office skills and a genuine willingness to support the broader workplace team will be highly valued.
