On offer is a high-level Executive Assistant role, primarily supporting the CEO, as well as support to the CFO, specifically with board preparation and organisation. Highly coveted is an Executive Assistant who operates with discretion and decorum; someone who is accessible, diligent, and thorough, with an optimistic disposition. Naturally, this role will liaise at all levels both locally and globally and in turn requires first-rate communication skills.
Supporting and representing a hugely respected and naturally high-performing CEO, your day to day will see you coordinating extensive travel, diary and calendar management, liaising with the board and preparing for board / senior leadership meetings and events. Anticipating the needs of the CEO and communicating on his behalf, will truly set you apart. The Responsibility
This role will involve intricate support to the CEO and CFO to include:
- Answering, responding, actioning and delegating emails;
- Extensive travel coordination both domestic & international;
- Constant manipulation of a busy and ever-changing diary;
- Coordinating cyclical board meetings inclusive of preparing papers and agendas;
- Organising of senior leadership meetings including presentations and reports;
- Arranging and ensuring the smooth running of events and townhalls, including organising of venues, receiving visitors, catering etc.
- Identifying opportunities to continuously optimise the time and efficiency of the CEO and CFO, and overall senior leadership team.
The Expertise
To be considered for this role you will possess at minimum 10 + years of senior level EA experience, having supported at C-Suite level. In demand, is someone coming from the FMCG, Retail, or Consumer Goods sector, to be able to understand the nuances of this industry and be able to operate effectively within this fast-paced environment. Communication skills are paramount, specifically being able to liaise with all stakeholders, and being able to represent the CEO’s voice. Considerably valued is someone who is calm and considered, with a bright and positive demeanour, not least of all who takes great pride in their work and being a true right hand.
