- National Business | High-Impact, Fast-Paced Role
- Partner 1:1 with a dynamic, influential COO in a pivotal period of growth
- Drive cadence, influence outcomes and play a central role in business execution
The Opportunity
This is an exceptional opportunity for a polished and highly capable Executive Assistant to support a transformative and fast-paced Chief Operating Officer within a major national organisation. The business operates in a complex, operationally intensive environment and is undergoing a significant uplift in efficiency, structure and leadership cadence.
The COO is seeking a true partner – someone who brings control, rhythm and foresight to her world. This role goes far beyond traditional EA tasks. You will be the central point of coordination across her executive team, a trusted advisor, and the person who ensures priorities stay on track.
This is a role for someone who enjoys taking full ownership, influencing outcomes, and ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
The Role
As the COO’s right hand, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving daily priorities through structured morning check-ins and alignment
- Complex diary, meeting and travel management across multiple states
- Acting as a gatekeeper and managing external stakeholders, including major retail partners
- Running point on follow-ups, key actions and WIP items across senior leaders
- Supporting board and event coordination, agendas, minutes and communications
- Helping shape the COO’s internal and external profile, including brand-building activities
- Protecting her time, managing bottlenecks, and ensuring communication is polished and well-received
- Supporting with expenses, approvals and operational workflow
- Joining key meetings to provide the “pulse” of the room and help guide next steps
The Expertise
To be considered, you will bring:
- 5+ years’ experience as an EA supporting C-suite, senior executives or equivalent
- Refined EQ, sound judgement and absolute discretion – confidentiality is paramount
- Confidence managing strong personalities and navigating senior stakeholder environments
- A natural ability to drive cadence, accountability and follow-through
- Maturity, intuition and the ability to “read the room” and stay three steps ahead
- Experience across logistics-heavy, operational or fast-paced industries is advantageous
- Strong written communication and an ability to finesse messaging when needed
- A polished, composed and relationship-led presence
Above all, we’re looking for someone who takes control, brings clarity, and becomes indispensable to a leader who is lifting the organisation to its next level.
