The Opportunity
Assistant Sydney is working with a private equity and venture capital firm to identify an experienced Executive Assistant to support the two founders. The firm of 30 has a holistic approach with regards to their investment strategy, which is based around partnerships, understanding, and collaboration, and the same sentiment is applied to employees. They’ve cultivated a close-knit, team focused, supportive environment of like-minded individuals, and as such expect the same from their new hire for this newly created role. We are looking for a self-starter who can engage with stakeholders of all levels, and who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to help, if required. The Responsibility
The responsibilities in this role will be:
- Executive and at times personal support for Founders
- Calendar management & travel coordination for Founders and Partners for the partners
- Arranging client / investor meetings
- Coordination of Board Meetings
- Expense management
- Providing support on presentations as required
- Assistance with company and investor events / functions
- Taking the lead on various projects to improve administrative functions
- Assistance with back up support for Office Manager and Receptionist during leave
The Expertise
The ideal candidate will have 5-8 years’ experience in a similar Team/Personal/Executive Assistant role, ideally within a financial services firm or start up environment. You will have proven initiative and confidence, with no task being too small; excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to engage with stakeholders of all levels. You’ll be highly proficient in MS Office, have demonstrated reliability, flexibility, proactivity, initiative, and be capable of managing competing priorities.
