The Opportunity
We’ve partnered with one of Australia’s largest privately-owned construction companies, which is renowned for specialising in delivering iconic projects in an innovative and collaborative fashion, across commercial, hospitality, residential, retail, industrial and heritage buildings. On offer is a full-time permanent opportunity for an Executive Assistant to support the CFO and General Counsel/Company Secretary. This role requires you to be in the office 5-days per week, however, with the open spaces, culture-driven team and convenient CBD location, you will find the office is a fantastic place to be. The Responsibility
You will play a pivotal role in office culture and dynamics, developing positive working relationships and setting the tone for a vibrant environment. Duties include:
- Responsible for diary, meeting and inbox management;
- Coordinating travel requirements and logistics;
- Managing and coordinating meetings including taking minutes and providing action items.
- Managing correspondence including reports, documents, emails, and phone calls;
- Handing expenses, invoices and other administrative needs, including approvals;
- Managing events both internally for the team and clients including sporting events, roadshows, breakfasts/dinners, and anything in between;
- Handling personal support requirements.
The Expertise
The ideal candidate will have 3-5+ years of experience as an executive assistant supporting at a similar level, with exposure to the construction, legal or professional service industries being beneficial. Moreover, your ability to work professionally, liaise with a range of stakeholders, and manage competing priorities are crucial. You’ll need to be highly proficient in MS Office, have demonstrated reliability, flexibility, proactivity and initiative, and be capable of managing competing priorities. You will have sound verbal and written communication skills and have a driven desire to achieve outstanding results in a team environment.
