The Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for a high-level Executive Assistant to support a CEO known for their humble, unassuming, and genuine approach — playing a pivotal role in shaping the dynamic of the executive office and influencing key business outcomes.
The organisation is looking to redefine the Executive Assistant role — seeking someone with a broad skill set who can go beyond traditional EA duties to act as a trusted advisor and sounding board to the CEO. This role will suit a candidate with exceptional emotional intelligence, who can provide proactive support, influence decisions with subtlety, and foster connection across the wider EA team.

The Responsibility
This role involves high-level, intricate support to the CEO, with responsibilities including:
- Calendar Management: Scheduling meetings, managing priorities, and resolving potential conflicts for internal and external stakeholders;
- Inbox Management: Overseeing the CEO’s inbox — actioning, prioritising, and responding where appropriate;
- CEO Support: Keeping the CEO informed on internal tasks, approvals, board requirements, and committee obligations;
- Board Coordination: Collaborating with the Company Secretary to manage board-related tasks and logistics;
- Travel Management: Coordinating domestic and international travel including itineraries;
- Meeting Management: Taking minutes during ELT meetings, ensuring follow-ups and action items are completed;
- Document Preparation: Assisting with the preparation and formatting of presentations, letters, and reports using MS Office Suite and;
- Stakeholder Communication: Facilitating communication between key stakeholders, primarily the ELT and the Board.
The Expertise
To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of 7+ years of experience as a senior-level EA, ideally supporting C-suite executives in fast-paced, complex environments. Experience within financial services, insurance, or a similarly regulated corporate environments is highly advantageous.
