Our client is seeking a Facilities Coordinator on an ongoing contract basis, which will work closely with the facilities and front desk team to provide seamless support to staff and high-level stakeholders. The Responsibility
This position requires initiative, attention to detail and the ability to adapt quickly. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Support the facilities team with day-to-day coordination of operations, including scheduling, task tracking, and general maintenance activities.
- Act as a key point of contact for internal stakeholders and vendors, assisting with maintenance requests, repairs, and service delivery.
- Liaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective completion of works, while maintaining safety and compliance standards.
- Assist with budget tracking, reporting, and the coordination of capital works or improvement projects.
- Build strong working relationships across teams to ensure a responsive and efficient facilities service.
- Provide guidance and informal support to junior team members, contributing to a collaborative, positive, and high-performing team environment.
The Expertise
The ideal candidate will have 3 + years of experience within property/facilities coordination. You’ll understand the expectations within the corporate sector but also exude warmth and have a welcoming and approachable attitude. You will be reliable, resilient and a problem-solver at your core, but also enjoy organisational and autonomous tasks too. A strong MS Office proficiency and ability to pick up new systems, will be highly valued.
