The Opportunity
Work within a world-leading, IT and analytics organisation that is at the forefront of their industry. The client is seeking an experienced person with a high attention to detail to join their diverse team in this temp-to-perm opportunity. This role is integral to the day-to-day running of the business, as the first point of contact for all visitors, and therefore we are looking for someone with the necessary experience and understanding for this role.
If you’re semi-retired, a busy parent with school-aged kids, or are pursuing passions outside of work – this could be the perfect role for you! Office experience, especially on reception, would be advantageous to your application. This role will start as a 6 month contract, but it is highly likely it will be extended or made permanent.
The Responsibility
Working as Reception/office all-rounder your duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing the reception desk answering phone calls and emails;
- Provide customer service to employees and guests and ensure a smooth running of the office operations;
- Performing general administration and office management duties;
- Ensure that all stationary, catering, and supplies are maintained as required;
- Being proactive in ensuring a clean, tidy, and well-presented work environment;
- Ad hoc support for your team and assist in tasks including preparation of reports.
The Expertise
The successful candidate will have 1+ years of work experience in an administrative based role, that demonstrates their ability to work individually and as part of a team. You must be able to work autonomously and create a welcoming atmosphere. Having had experience working within a previous administrative role you will have great computer skills with an intermediate level of MS office and Google Sheets.
