The Opportunity
This is an excellent opportunity to join a highly respected, leading ASX listed financial services firm as an Office Assistant. Renowned for their impressive portfolio of investments, they have a long-term track record and plans to further grow in 2025 which is reflective of their customer-centric approach as well as their top tier, vibrant and collaborative office culture.
This fast-paced Office Assistant role will see you working hand in hand with other members of the support team, where you’ll manage general office duties such as facilitating the smooth running of the front of house and board room operations, as well as opportunities to support senior members of the support team with ad hoc tasks. If you are seeking your first introduction into a corporate environment, or have 12 months of reception/administration experience, this is an opportunity not to be missed.
The Responsibility
Your responsibilities will include a variety of duties, such as:
- High level service as the first point of contact for all guests, clients and staff;
- Ensuring board rooms and meeting rooms are set up and prepared appropriately;
- Manage all stock, stationery and kitchen orders for the office;
- Managing the stocktake of office supplies;
- Ensuring the kitchen is clean and presentable;
- Managing any errands and the smooth running of the office;
- Ad hoc tasks as directed by the Executive Assistant.
The Expertise
To be considered for this opportunity, ideally you will have previous experience as a Boardroom Attendant, Office Coordinator, Office Administration or Corporate Hospitality. Alternatively, your experience may yield from hospitality or retail, with the intent to step into a corporate environment in a client service focused role.
You must have strong communication and relationship management skills, present impeccably, and have a strong eye for attention to detail. You will need to be capable of working autonomously with minimal supervision, take pride in your service and enjoy building relationships with stakeholders of all levels.
