The Opportunity
An exciting opportunity has become available with a privately owned construction business, which is well-established and reputable within the market, with offices across Australia. The company is seeking a full-time Office Coordinator to join their thriving and dynamic team. Our client prides itself on it’s fun environment and it’s work/life balance approach, as well as providing opportunities for growth and development. This position is integral to the business – ensuring the smooth running of day to day operations including planning events, working closely with leadership and assisting with the onboarding and set up of new employees – a true all-rounder.
Due to the nature of this role, this is a 5 days in the office arrangement, though our client is open to discuss flexible hours for the right candidate i.e. if you’re a parent returning to work or have school aged kids.

The Responsibility
As the Office Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing support to the Directors and Project Teams whilst managing the daily operations of the office. This involves:
- Assisting with day-to-day operations of the business, to ensure a smooth running of the office;
- Coordinating events and internal social activities;
- Supporting with onboarding and new starter requests;
- Implementing and improving office policies and procedures;
- Supporting the Project Teams with external marketing and project materials;
- Liaising with external suppliers, clients, and stakeholders;
- Provide admin support to the Directors;
- Ad hoc requests as required.
The Expertise
The successful candidate will ideally possess at least 18 months’ experience within administration, office coordination, office management, or similar. You must be willing to learn, friendly, approachable and bubbly, and enjoy building professional relationships!
Learning the business from the ground up will take you far in this firm. Exceptional communication skills are imperative to the role, along with a strong attention to detail and polite nature. A proactive attitude and strong MS Office Suite skills are also important.
