We are partnering with a well-established private investment and asset management business with a long-standing history in Australia. Operating across multiple rural and investment assets, the organisation maintains a lean head office structure supporting broader operational sites and stakeholders.
Based in Sydney’s inner city within a small, close-knit corporate team, this is a highly trusted Office Coordinator / Team Assistant position that plays a central role in ensuring the smooth running of the business.
This is a stable, long-term opportunity offering genuine variety, ownership and exposure across office operations, compliance, executive support and administration. It would suit someone who enjoys being the organisational backbone of a small team and thrives in a hands-on, varied environment.
The Responsibility
This is a broad Office Coordinator / Team Assistant role combining office operations, administration and executive support.
Key responsibilities include:
- Oversee day-to-day office operations and maintain a professional, well-run environment
- Act as first point of contact for calls, visitors and general enquiries
- Liaise with contractors, service providers and external stakeholders
- Maintain structured digital and physical filing systems (SharePoint)
- Provide accounts administration support, including invoice processing and record management
- Assist with compliance tasks including ASIC documentation and internal reporting
- Coordinate quarterly Board meetings and support senior leadership with documentation and travel
- Support workers’ compensation administration and general WHS record keeping
- Provide ad hoc administrative support across the broader business
The Expertise
We are seeking a dependable and grounded professional who values stability and takes pride in being the backbone of a small team.
- 2–3+ years’ experience as an Office Coordinator, Team Assistant or similar
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A proactive, hands-on and solutions-focused approach
- High levels of discretion and professionalism
- Exposure to agriculture, investments or a family-owned environment (advantageous)
- A long-term mindset and desire to grow within a stable business
