About the role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Office Manager to join a long-standing professional law firm on Sydney’s North Shore. You’ll be joining a stable and supportive team that genuinely values work-life balance and understands the needs of working parents. Flexible hours are available, including school-friendly start and finish times, and there’s the option to work four days per week for the right candidate. The office is well-located near public transport and there is also easy street parking. While previous legal experience is preferred, it’s not essential. The team is happy to provide training in legal procedures and systems to help you settle into the role confidently!
The Responsibility
This role requires initiative and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities include:
- Providing administrative support to the team, including drafting correspondence, preparing legal documents, and managing client files
- Scheduling appointments, coordinating meetings, and handling client enquiries with empathy and professionalism
- Assisting with the preparation of court-related documentation and liaising with external parties when required
- Maintaining well-organised electronic and physical filing systems
- Managing general office operations such as stationery, equipment, and day-to-day logistics
- Playing a key role in fostering an organised and collaborative office environment
The Expertise
To succeed in this role, you’ll bring prior experience in an Office Manager or Coordinator position, ideally within a legal or professional services setting. You’ll be highly organised, with strong time management skills and a sharp eye for detail. Clear and professional communication comes naturally to you, and you’re someone who can handle sensitive matters with maturity and discretion. You’ll be comfortable using Microsoft Office. Experience with legal systems such as LEAP is advantageous. Full Australian working rights are required.
