The Opportunity
Our client, dedicated to vision health, is seeking an experienced, solutions-oriented Operations Manager to help drive the next stage of growth for their expanding healthcare business. The Responsibility
As the Operations Manager, you’ll play a key role in supporting future expansion and implementing processes and procedures. Your role will include but not be limited to:
- Lead operations across two expanding practice sites, reporting directly to the business owner/surgeon;
- Build, implement, and monitor process-driven systems across admin, surgical bookings, and patient experience;
- Design and oversee KPI dashboards and accountability frameworks for all staff;
- Direct line management of practice managers/reception leads at each site;
- Coordinate with clinical team to optimise surgical and refractive booking pathways;
- Manage accreditation projects for potential day surgery and laser suite;
- Oversee marketing strategy (digital, referral engagement, SEO), including budget allocation and ROI monitoring; and
- Drive staff training, onboarding, and professional development.
The Expertise
- Demonstrated success in managing multi-site healthcare practices (e.g. ophthalmology, dentistry, or similar private health environments);
- Skilled in developing systems, optimising processes, and leading projects from planning to execution;
- Proficient in creating and analysing KPI dashboards to drive performance outcomes;
- Effective leadership style with the ability to delegate, coach, and hold teams accountable; and
- Commercially astute with a solid understanding of private healthcare growth strategies and marketing ROI.
