The Opportunity
Our client, an ASX listed organisation, is searching for candidates who can commit to a casual work roster for a minimum of 6 months. A leader in their industry, the addition of this company on your CV can not be underestimated!
The successful candidate will be proactive, hard working and reliable; and looking to step into the corporate world and gain experience. Full training and ongoing support will be provided, with the potential for the role to evolve down the track, pending the business’ needs. This role is a casual position with no confirmed hours and will likely suit a university student, retiree, someone looking to get back into work after kids – or someone who is looking for flexible working arrangements that suits around a busy lifestyle.
The Responsibility
As the Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for the business on a broad range of operational and administrative tasks
- Fostering a strong sense of customer service including; welcoming visitors authentically and timely, providing hospitable experiences for employees and guests;
- Maintaining site operations; handling internal & external calls, Handling mail and organising couriers, managing stationery, and ensuring up-to-date visitor information;
- Meeting room set up and pack down, responsible for keeping the office tidy at all times;
- Assist in the coordination and preparation of events, workplace initiatives and resource use;
- Uphold the company image and foster general happiness within the great team!
The Expertise
The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years minimum experience working in a corporate office environment. You will have experience in a Reception/Facilities role preferably within a project-based or operationally focused organisation. You’ll be passionate about delivering top tier service to both internal and external clients, with the ability to multi-task whilst remaining detail orientated in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills and the ability to influence a range of stakeholder’s whist donning a proactive and positive attitude will also be essential to your success.
