The Opportunity

Assistant Sydney is collaborating with a leading professional services firm to find an outstanding Front of House Receptionist. This role goes beyond a warm welcome; you’ll be the face of the company, ensuring seamless day-to-day operations and contributing to the success of their workshops and events. You’ll join a collaborative, people-focused team that values professionalism, positivity and meaningful client experiences. 

The Responsibility

As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in creating a welcoming and professional environment. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Greeting clients and visitors with warmth, confidence, and professionalism;
  • Handling phone calls and emails with clarity, efficiency, and attention to detail;
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings and supporting the smooth flow of daily office operations;
  • Setting up the boardroom with AV equipment to ensure smooth in-house events and functions, and coordinating catering as needed;
  • Managing office supplies, as well as overseeing deliveries, mail, and couriers; and
  • Providing ad hoc administrative support—such as formatting documents and presentations to help keep everything running smoothly.

The Expertise

We’re seeking a candidate with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a front-of-house or client-facing role, whether in a corporate environment or premium hospitality. If you’re someone who thrives on human connection, communicates with ease, juggles multiple priorities effortlessly, and brings both warmth and professionalism to every interaction, you’ll be a great fit! Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. CRM experience advantageous but not a pre-requisite.
