The Opportunity
A exciting opportunity has arisen to join a global investment firm with a US-based HQ and a strong track record of success. Their Sydney CBD office is modern, professional, and close to all major public transport options. A Corporate Receptionist position is available for an ambitious and friendly, individual eager to get their foot in the door of a successful billion-dollar firm.
This is the excellent entry-level role for a recent university graduate or a customer service professional (hospitality, retail, or similar) looking to transition into the corporate world. The Responsibility
As the first point of contact for all employees, clients, and guests, your daily duties will include:
- Delivering exceptional customer service: greeting visitors warmly and creating a welcoming experience for all.
- Managing site operations: answering calls, handling mail and couriers, managing stationery, and maintaining up-to-date visitor information.
- Meeting room preparation and pack down, keeping the office neat and presentable at all times.
- Assisting in the coordination of events, workplace initiatives, and resource management.
- Upholding the company’s professional image while fostering a positive and friendly team atmosphere.
The Expertise
You may be a recent university graduate or have 6–18 months’ experience in a customer-facing role such as hospitality, retail, or reception. Polished, friendly, and professional in nature, you’ll bring a warm presence to the office and have a clear, confident phone manner. Proficiency in MS Office Suite is desirable, along with strong attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
