The Opportunity

With a presence in Sydney for over 15 years, this is an exciting opportunity to join a growing and progressive accounting and consultancy firm. With a client base of all sizes, ranging from individuals, families to SME’s and High Net Worth Individuals they provide accounting, wealth management, tax, and auditing services. Our client values it’s employees with opportunities for training, networking and development.

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced receptionist/administration professional looking to join a corporate office environment. This role will suit someone who takes pride in being the first point of contact for a business, wanting to be the friendly and professional face of a business.

The Responsibility
  
Reporting to the Operations Manager, your duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: 

  • Greeting and providing guidance to clients/visitors, and contractors
  • Handling inbound and outbound calls and managing mail for clients
  • Offering and serving of refreshments
  • Coordinating meeting room bookings, and maintaining the cleanliness of these rooms
  • Maintaining kitchen and common spaces, ensuring sufficient food, beverage, office supplies, and stationery are supplied
  • Performing additional ad-hoc duties where required
  • Remaining compliant with any administrative tasks or report, including ASIC, ATO, and other regulatory changes

The Expertise

The ideal candidate will have 6 months to 2 years experience within Reception/Front of House or Administration, preferably within an accounting firm or professional services sector. Knowledge of Handisoft and Microsoft Office Suite Package is advantageous. You will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to liaise with stakeholders of all levels. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills is vital, along with a high attention to detail and a positive attitude.
