A Workplace Coordinator position is now available for a friendly, adaptable, and well-organised individual who is comfortable stepping into a fast-paced office environment and keen to gain hands-on corporate experience. Based in a stunning, modern office in the heart of the CBD, the location offers easy access to all public transport options.
  
This role is offered on a casual basis, making it well suited to university students or those seeking flexible work. Availability for ad hoc support throughout the week is required, so a flexible schedule and the ability to prioritise business needs at short notice is essential.
  
The Responsibility
  
As the Workplace Coordinator, you will be the first point of contact for the business across a broad range of operational and administrative tasks:

  • Foster a strong sense of customer service, including welcoming visitors authentically and promptly, and providing hospitable experiences for employees and guests.
  • Oversee the organisation, execution, and completion of projects in an end-to-end capacity.
  • Maintain site operations, including handling internal and external calls, managing mail and couriers, organising stationery, and keeping visitor information up to date
  • Coordinate facilities, including managing contractors and vendors, and ensuring the office runs smoothly.
  • Set up and pack down meeting rooms, and ensure the office is tidy at all times.
  • Assist in the coordination and preparation of events, workplace initiatives, and resource use.
  • Assist in the onboarding of new staff and interns, including visitor desk setup.
  • Uphold the company image and foster general happiness within the team. 

The Expertise
  
The ideal candidate will have some experience working in a corporate or professional office environment, which may include part-time, casual, internship, or university-based experience. Exposure to a Reception, Facilities, or administrative role will be highly regarded, but is not essential.
  
You’ll have a genuine interest in delivering a high level of service to both internal and external stakeholders, along with the ability to juggle multiple tasks while staying organised and detail-focused in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication skills, a proactive and positive attitude, and the confidence to engage with a range of stakeholders will be key to succeeding in this role. Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite is required.
